Location to the airport

The fact that the hotel was very central in St John’s and was well maintained and clean. In addition, I loved the fact that the hotel had an East Side Mario (I think 🤔 that’s what it was called) Restaurant and Bar

I wish the restaurant and bar could have been open later into the night

The housekeeping service was excellent, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is beautiful and made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Unfortunately, our experience with the breakfast service was very disappointing. The breakfast package was quite complicated, and the servers did not clearly explain what was included, what was considered an extra charge, or how the process worked. Our server was also quite rude and seemed frustrated whenever we asked questions. When we tried to clarify what was included with our breakfast, we were simply told to order our breakfast meal and provide the breakfast coupon afterward. Based on that explanation, we ordered the same breakfast with additional sausage and ham for two days and made sure to politely check with the servers each time to ensure there were no additional charges. However, on the third day, we were suddenly charged for sides, even though this had never been explained to us previously. We also noticed that we were overcharged. We ordered two sides that were listed as $2 each, but were charged $6 and $4 instead. In the end, we paid $11 for sides that had never been properly explained and had not been charged on the previous days. I had no issues with the hotel staff or housekeeping, but unfortunately, the restaurant service was very disappointing. Clearer communication and more welcoming service would have made a significant difference. Based on our experience, I would not recommend purchasing the breakfast package here.

The doors stuck. The whole place needs a facelift. Crumbing pastel, iron railings pealing, hallways dingy.
