Good location, not very expensive for Berlin, comfortable bed, room size was good.

The room, especially the bathroom wasn't very clean. For example the floor inside the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned and there was quite some mold too. It was a bit outdated as well. Glasses with lipstick stains from the previous guests is very unprofessional and disgusting in my opinion and for example, the light switches were quite dirty. We booked a room with a kitchenette that had a stove top. Upon arrival, we couldn't find any. When we went to the reception, we got a portable stove top and a box with kitchen supplies. They did not tell us it worked like this, while checking in and in the booking.com listing, the photos showed just a build-in kitchen that looked way better than we got.

Great location, lovely staff, clean room

Bed wasn't the comfiest, but after a day of walking around Berlin and a few Hefeweizen it's not an issue!

Bunkbeds were comfortable.

Rooms need an update and care. Lights switches broken. Needed paints and shower needed work.

My room was neat and functional, I liked being able to open the windows. Location was very convenient and the n.200 bus stop was very close and takes to the Zoologischer Garten station with lots of S-Bahn options. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful! Lots of good places to eat close by the hotel.

Shower fixtures were a little old, but working OK. Soundproofing could be improved.

Booking in process we arrived late and process was great

It was a large room and was spotlessly clean, The bonus of a small fridge and complimentary water was good.

Not so sure about no manned reception after 22-00hrs luckily our check in went well and our key card worked, but I've stayed at many hotels where the key card failed to open the door so it was a concern. The windows are old and as there is lots of construction across the road it was noisy from 06-00hrs

The location was good. It was possible to do check-in late in the evening and get the key card without personal.

The hotel can't be blamed that there is a huge construction opposite of the hotel, but it was really disturbing. The noise woke us ip every morning at 7 pm, which is not so nice. We started sleeping with ear plugs which helped a little. Since there was no AC we would have liked to keep the window open, but then the noise was even worse. The cleaning was not good. There was a layer of dust on the surfaces for days. In the end we complained and were compensated with a free breakfast, which was nice.

Room was spacious and had a balcony

The bathroom was quite small with no form of ventilation and the shower was quite temperamental and broke on the second day. However this was quickly fixed the very same day.

Really friendly lady on reception and not too far from U-BAHN on U1

Very minor thing, but had to use trainers to access to bunk as rungs hurt my feet otherwise.

The beds were very comfortable and the location absolutely ideal, quiet yet close to everything

The cleaning didn't happen every day

The hotel was in great location. it did me and my partner as all we wanted was a place to sleep after adventuring all day

The location is perfect. Although the hotel is located in a busy area of the city, it is very quiet. There is a garden with tables and seats to eat or drink something you bring with you. The staff is very helpful. The hotel exceeds my expectations.

The double size beds are not wide enough. Their springs are too soft, which causes abnormal deflection. The beds need to be renovated.

Location was quiet but not far from public transportation.

No air condition.

The bed is too small, it doesn't fit a couple comfortably. There is no air conditioning, the rooms are extremely hot at night.

We loved the location of the hotel. All the touristic places we visited were all within 30 minutes of the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was kept very clean. We received new towels every single day. For me a big bonus was the presence of a watercolor to boil water for tea.

We booked a room for 2 people with 1 bed. Unfortunately the bed was more the size for 1.5 person instead of 2. We did manage, but it was a little bit uncomfortable.

Wonderful breakfast

The hotel itself was very clean . The rooms were spacious enough and were recently renovated . The bathroom was okay . Staff was nice , you also receive a bottle of water in your room . The location is good , next to tiergarten on a quiet street.

The bathroom was okay in general , but one of the glass doors of the shower cabin almost fell off , also you could see some parts of it had fallen off and were just left there. A minus is also not having AC. I can't complain since the nights were cold , but for a 3 star hotel there should be AC in every room . My pillows were not filled consistently , but more like they had socks inside . However for the price I payed ,it was fine to deal with.

Good location and spacious room.

Poor drainage in bathroom. It gets blocked while having shower and smelly. Room not serviced despite having the sign to please make my room. No air conditioner in the room fan wasn’t sufficient for air circulation was really hot in the room. Breakfast was expensive.
