Bellstar Suites at Solara Resort

The space was beautiful and what we needed for our stay. Very comfortable and well-designed.

The booking process had some hassles. I was contacted a few months after booking requesting additional payment. I think the group had been hacked. On the day of check-in I was asked for additional incidentals details but was concerned due to the earlier issues. It was complicated and resulted in me needed to reach out to the team for check in details after providing the card on a call. I understand the need for security and guest validation but wish it had been a smoother process with no earlier compromised system messages that eroded trust.

Good location. Spacious and clean.

Finding our way to the room to start with was difficult. More detailed instructions would be an improvement. Lack of useful items in kitchen that you don’t want to be whole rolls of ie foil etc. lack of good lighting in the bedrooms.

The suite was a good plan and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked.

The whole resort is very poorly maintained, Carpets are worn with threads sticking out, the pool was poorly cleaned, the halls and elevators are worn and often dirty, The 1 st suite the first night in Soleras was not clean, my slippers were filthy from the carpets, the three tv’s in the 2nd reservation of Aug. 28th - 31st were all small, the 2nd bedroom tv didn’t work, the living room tv only worked sometimes, the fireplace in the master bedroom didn’t work. The resort needs serious maintenance. I stayed last year and it has changed badly since then.
