Ramada by Wyndham Sherwood Park

Friendly staff

Not much

Nice clean room.

Only 1 small elevator so we just used the stairs.

Location and staff

Well, the room had a smell that sounded like cigarette smoke, I didn’t recognize right away, but my wife did. After a few hours, I noted she was right. Either someone smoked there recently or the carpet absorbed the smell long ago and was not replaced. Also, rooms facing the avenue don’t have a proper sound insulation, therefore the traffic noise do bother until about 10 PM and starts to become bothersome at 6 AM. I asked for a quieter room when I made the reservation, but apparently this was not taken into consideration. We were so tired from our trip that we decided not to complain or request to change rooms.

Location was close to my destination. A/C was working. Room temperature was good. Morning staff was good.

Greeting staff when checking in could of been better. Area is not great if wanting quiet. Area has a lot of traffic noise.
