Pocaterra Inn & Waterslide

We really liked our deluxe king suite. It was spacious and had the king size bed, dressers, and cupboard. Another part had a small fridge, sink and cupboards. We were a little surprised that there wasn’t a microwave or plates and cutlery, but the desk staff offered us some if we needed them. There was a cozy area in front of the fireplace with 2 comfortable arm chairs and a small table where we could play cards. The tv faced the bed from across the room where the dressers were. We also had a small office type room with desk and chair great for using a lap top. The biggest surprise was the large bathroom with double sinks, toilet, , shower, and a jacuzzi tub! It actually had French doors to enter it. Natural light came from a good sized window. It was spacious and no feeling of it all being forced into a small space. Good variety for the complimentary breakfast Muffins, toast, bagels, and waffles; eggs, bacon or sausages, and potatoes; yogurt with fruit , and 4 juices, coffee, tea , and milk to choose from . The ladies who looked after the dining area kept on top of trays as they became empty and were very friendly. The only recommendation I would make is to cook the waffles according to directions. The first day they were so hard I could not cut them. I mentioned it to the staff and she said she would check. The next time I had them they were not hard at all but perhaps could have still used another minute or so to fully cook them. The staff was very willing to try to make them better. I’m not sure how they were cooking them as in frying pan, toaster or some other way. Check in and check out were excellent. We had a question about our room upon arrival and it was fixed immediately. Although we did not use the pool it looked lovely and I heard that it was warm. We were very happy with our accommodation and would definitely return.

There was nothing that we didn’t like. Staff, the facilities, the room and the amenities were excellent.

A pleasant hotel. Clean and spacious room. Convenient parking. Friendly and helpful staff

Breakfast is relatively simple compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at (no vegetables).
