Motel Adam

Wir haben ein sehr sauberes und kleines Motel Zimmer gehabt. Das Frühstück war inklusive und typisch kanadisch (süß und lecker). Ich empfehle den Filterkaffee! Das Zimmer hatte eine Mini Küche inklusive Kühlschrank. Der kostenlose Parkplatz befand sich direkt vor unserer Türe. Wir haben von der angrenzenden Straße nichts mitbekommen.

I thought the old time motor inn set up was great. All rooms were at ground level, no one above or below. Private and secure, I would have felt totally all right having a vehicle there as parking was right in front of the suite. We are two single travellers and were delighted to find that room #247 had a separate bedroom at the back, with a door! In case anyone snores stick ‘em in that room :) We each had our own workspace with usb plugs and office chair. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker and air conditioning were all in fine working order. Shower has great water pressure! Oh and the tap water is absolutely fine to drink. Soft linens and pillows, comfortable beds (firm but not overly so) The furnishings were nice too, the little sitting area had decent arm chairs. The cabinetry was modern and drawers glided without sticking. You don’t have to fight with them like you do in some other motels. It was a good place to come back to after hours and hours of tramping around downtown Ottawa. Thank you!

Only a couple of things I can think of is an ashtray or sand bucket outside would be helpful, as I did notice quite a few cigarette ends in the parking lot. Also separate bins for recycling and empties. It bugs me to throw everything in the garbage, but that’s just me. Maybe someone sorts it after? It would be nice to have a small bar/lounge where one may have a beer or glass of wine with other guests. The continental breakfast offerings were very good quality, however the area became crowded very quickly as it is all back in a small nook. None of this is a big deal but I think others should know about this especially if claustrophobic.

It is just a car-motel. Look ghetto. Location: right opposite of a strip joint so you expect drunk men and strip dancers over there. Breakfast is included but no meat. The breakfast area is small so expect crowds in the morning.
