Deerhurst Resort

the buffet breakfast and carvery dinners were fabulous.

We were a bit surprised on the Monday night when the maple pub was closed. This limited our dining to compass. We would have appreciated more choice.

Breakfast was good.

Room didn't have washcloths. Fridge light kept flickering like a strobe light while we were sleeping. Had to cover with a towel. No coffee maker in room. No microwave. Shower was plugged and filled up a minute or so into the shower.

Very nice location, 3 outdoor pools and one indoor pool. Big room, very clean. They have a nice beach as well where you can take kayaks, paddle boats or stand up paddle boat for free.

There is nothing to do in evening time- no entertainments. You need to spend your time watching TV. If this place is called "resort" there should be some evening activities. This resort is more family resort, for people with kids who sleep after 8pm. Restaurants are expensive, but you do not have a choice because there is no microwave in the room and there is a smallest fridge I have ever seen in hotels, type of bar-cooler. There is a nice beach where you can take paddle boats, kayaks for free, but if you want a pedal boat you need to pay 30$CA. I did not see anybody rented pedal boats wising the days we stayed there Maybe they need to reduce the price? The resort area is very poorly lit. We were returning from the main building around 11 p.m., and it was difficult to find the way to our building; it’s a good thing that a shuttle caught up with us and took us where we needed to go.

Das Personal am Empfang war nicht professionell So konnten die einfachsten Fragen zum Nationslpark Algoquin nicht beantwortet werden! Es heisst einfach Check St their Website! Der Room Service ist nicht existent! Auch nach Nachfragen bei der Reception klappte es nicht! Preisleistung stimmt überhaupt nicht! Beim Breakfast geht’s eine Ewigkeit bis das Essen kommt! Es gibt kein Buffet!
