The check in was easy and pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was as advertised - heavenly. Toilet and shower were clean. Towels were fluffy. Air conditioner worked like a charm in a very hot day.

Breakfast was toast, yogurt and cereals. I would have preferred hot foods like Waffle, eggs and bacon.

Location was great for our race in rossland and the price was good value for money

We kept getting shocked by the door every time we'd open it ir close it, something weird going on with the grounding in the building.

I have to say that the beds are extremely comfortable. I had a great sleep, and they were nice. Beautifully done, very clean units and very quiet. In the area the mate is doing a great job. I would definitely go back again next year. They have a great hot tub as well. But they need a little bit hotter.

I cannot give you one suggestion. I loved it all.

The location was awesome!! Really loved the area, so beautiful. The town is small, but everyone was friendly and helpful. If you love sking or biking - Great place to go.

Room was basic but clean, wish there was just a bit more room. It's was still good.

The bathtub faucet continuously dripped. Sound was annoying when trying to sleep. Rented a room with a kitchenette. A cutting board would have been helpful. Still scratching my head about the empty salt and pepper shakers.

Very clean, well maintained and updated. Quiet even though it was right next to the road. We never once heard our neighbours above or to the side. The AC was spot on and kept the room perfectly cool in the 34 degree weather! The king size bed was as comfortable as our own at home; best 2 sleeps of our whole road-trip! There is an underwhelming but available “continental breakfast” consisting of coffee, tea, toast, cereal, oatmeal , a couple muffins and some yoghurt. They also have a spa tub just off the main lobby which we did not use in 34 degree weather but it was well kept and clean. On our second night we discovered the property is right across from the mining museum, which btw we highly recommend. Also, even though we never actually used it there is a store/gas station just a 60 second walk away. This motel is the closest property to Red Mtn other than if you were to actually stay at the mountain and still only a 3 minute drive to downtown Rossland. All in all excellent value and good location for Red Mtn while still being very close to town.

First impressions really are everything so imagine our shock when not even five seconds into the check in process the woman at the counter was incredibly unwelcoming, rude and dismissive. Imagine introducing yourself, “ Hi we are the L*****’s chec......”, and being cut off mid sentence and greeted with a very terse “Drivers licence and credit card” no please, no thank you, zero f***s given is the best way to put it. This was our only interaction with her of this nature, each time after that she was simply unfriendly but professional. Perhaps she hates her job/life or was simply having a bad day but thats no excuse. If this person is the face of the facility and the 1st person people meet upon checking in they may want to consider retraining or supervising her until improvements are made. Honestly the interaction was so terse and so quick that my hubby and I only had time to exchange raised eyebrows with each other over the whole thing until we left the lobby at which point we said in unison, “seriously?! What was that?!” Then my hubby said that if there were anywhere else available to book we would have simply turned and walked right out the door. To be clear we would never mention an individuals behaviour for any reason other than if that behaviour affected the business in a negative way. This is not a personal attack of any kind we do not know this person other than our very brief but very memorable interactions. This interaction was the one single negative about this property and it happened from the get go so how could we not mention it and remember it as the 1st thing we think of when we think of this place.

Location is great. Nice price.

The bed was very soft and tilted towards the middle so we kept rolling into each other!
