Hampton Inn Philadelphia-Great Valley

The closeness to needs that would boost any hotel's ratings. Examples: gas stations, eateries, shopping options and close to highways. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was comfortable - including the bed, temp. of the room and the layout.

When booking at the Hampton Inn, as always, one of the best amenities at every location is their complimentary full breakfast. Unfortunately, upon getting our keys for the room, we were informed that breakfast would be available, but there would be no hot sausage or eggs. Once at breakfast, I also recognized that there wasn't any oatmeal (hot or instant) available.

would have loved a couple bottles of water offered on arrival especially in that the weather was very hot and humid.Coffee is always really good at the breakfast area ...not in the room. Hope to see you soon Thank you all!

There was a variety of food for breakfast which was unexpected, in a good way. The rooms were clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The front desk was friendly and helpful throughout our stay there.

The wifi could have been better and the A/C made a squeaky noise which took a while to get used to.

Location and staff was friendly

First night lock on door would not work, I was traveling with my dog and when I had to take her out I would have to prop the door as no one could fix the lock and there were no extra rooms. I had to take all of my belongings out of the room Saturday morning that way maintenance could work on the door, I wanted to come back and relax in the afternoon and the room was not fixed and we could not use it. Which was inconvenient since it was raining and cold. Finally, later that evening they said the room was fixed I went to try the lock still did not work at this point I was frustrated as I now paid for a room that I had no access to for an entire day which I feel should be refunded in some way. They finally found another room that was available and moved us. I am a hot on member and love the Hampton In. This was the first time that I have ever encountered this type of issue. The staff was apologetic but I feel that something could have been done for the inconvenience that I faced.
