bed/ mattress was very old and uncomfortable

The location is very convenient for access to the downtown vicinities. It was clean. The staff was friendly.

Complimentary breakfast. Grab and go is ok but for the price a warm breakfast served to your room would change my rating to a 10. There is nothing better then breakfast in bed when staying at accommodations like these. Also, I found the bed to be a little uncomfortable. Maybe a thicker duvet and more blankets would have been more comfortable. I think an upgrade on bathroom products could be considered. The soaps supplies aren’t enough and are poor quality. Our bedroom had a small television. A bigger flat screen would have been nice.

close to George Street, very cozy. I would recommend this hotel for a winters night out. Gets the “storm night room vibe.” if you are looking for a vintage St. John’s feel this hotel really has it. also very spacious. Lots of room!

It’s definitely aged. you can smell that mustiness in the hotel when you first walk in. it’s very dark in the rooms but again as I said it’s got that cozy feel. I don’t recommend staying here UNLESS it’s the winter. Also one note I noticed. With the rooms being so big I was disappointed with the size of the tv it’s very small and also the tv isn’t in High Definition.
