The staff were friendly

By the time we had checked in, the room we had booked had been given to a walk in customer, so we were put into some sort of basement suite that wasn't ready for guests really, there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the sheets had some type of stains on them, we slept on top of the sheets. Then when I checked my credit statement there were 2 charges pending for the room, when I went back to the office they said that the one from Booking.com would be cancelled out, booking.com was also cheaper than what the motel charged me. When both charges had gone through on my credit card, I notified Holiday Motel, and they told me that the charges had been refunded and that it would show up the same day, Friday March 25,2022. The refund has still not shown up on my credit card and I have emailed them twice now and have asked them to check their numbers, that was today Mar 30,2022, and I still have not heard back from them. I am very disappointed in this establishment, will not be staying there again. The price was ridiculous for the room that they gave us. $190.97, they showed a slip showing a refund, but have not received.

Enough beds for our family, and it was clean. Microwave and mini fridge were very handy too.

No coffee shop or continental breakfast option on site. Rooms had unfinished damage patches on the walls.

Good location with a cafe and restaurant in walking distance. Staff were friendly. Good family vibe.

We stayed in #18 small one bedroom cabin. Cleaning was Ok but strange smell when we checked in and some small stains in the sheets. Blood curdling children screams in the night kept us awake and had a terrible sleep because of that. Bathroom very small and awkward layout with tiny towels (barely covered my body after a shower). Next to a more permanent RV park where music was quite loud past midnight.
