Beach House Fort Lauderdale, A Hilton Resort

We loved our stay beginning with our arrival. Nixon came out to the car with a smile on his face and a trolly for transporting our luggage. He took the trolley inside and came back with a wheelchair for my husband. Friendly, cheerful, and kind he wheeled my husband up to our beautiful suite, got a second luggage rack, an ice bucket and told us to call him if we needed anything. Nixon continued to take care of us until we got into a taxi to go to the airport. Francesca at the front desk was kind and treated us like royalty. The next morning our waitress in Ilios whose name I cannot remember was, also, outstanding. She recommended the lobster Latke Benedict and it was fabulous.

Nube Rooftop was the exception to excellence. From the minute we arrived at the desk where there were 3 young ladies. They asked if we had a reservation and we said no. One said to go sit at the bar. We went there and were told we could not sit at the bar, We went back the the front desk and were once again directed to the bar where we for the second time told we could not sit there. I went back to the desk and one young lady said :We will put them at..."s table she will serve them. She brought us a menu and wee ordered 2 drinks and 2 appetizers. One was the "giant shrimp cocktail" 4 tiny shrimp for $25.00, The other was oysters. She said there would be 5 but she could add a 6th. We said yes. We have never seen such tiny oysters. My husband's special margarita was ok. My drink was terrible, but since we were already being looked at as if we were trash to get rid of I said nothing. Our bill was $149.00 very overpriced. I would not recommend that restaurant to any one unless they are very young, good looking, scantily or over dressed, and ready to drop hundred's of dollars

The pool was great.

The kids club was supposed to run for an hour at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm but often there was no one there and we had to ask many times to check whether they would run the next session. It was off season so maybe they have less staff but for us it was a shame as it was one of the draw cards of the property.

The view, the gym, the rooftop bar!

The used cigarettes in the hallway, broken lamp which was the main light, tub was very slippery, no iron . Just seems like the room was not checked before we enter.
