Loved Andie as host. She is brilliant and makes an excellent breakfast. Great location.
The stay was too short!!!

Loved this old house with the beautiful decor. Steps away from the Trans-Canada walking trail which goes to a walking bridge over the river. You could spend house walking either side of the river, lovely, especially in the fall with the trees in full colour. Lots of guest parking, large rooms. with mini-fridges and comfy beds. I enjoyed taking my book downstairs to sit in front of the fire and read in the combination dining/sitting room. Breakfast had 3 choices, prepared whatever way you wanted, when you were ready, and the large tables encouraged conversation between guests.
Nothing to dislike here.

The host was great - very friendly, kind and welcoming.
Breakfast was good - hot coffee - 3 different choices for breakfast
Nice to sit at a big table and chat with other guests
Service at breakfast was very good
The room was very small - hardly any room to turn around
It felt like the place hadn't had a facelift in years - old pillows, linens felt like they'd been around for a long time.
There were scratches on the door, the door handle was missing on the bathroom door.
There was nowhere to get coffee - except at breakfast - and it felt like the food at breakfast was being rationed - other b & b's I've been to always had something a little extra that you could take away for later (like a piece of fruit or a muffin)
