Apart from the location which was good for our one night stay on the way back home, the receptionist made us feel very welcome. She assisted us in every way she could to make our stay most comfortable. She took her job seriously and that was the best thing a hotel can ask for from a staff. The room itself was clean, newly renovated. The bed was good too.
Not about the hotel though, just not many restaurants around - only one pizza shop. Fortunately we had our take out, and the receptionist kindly offered a microwave oven for us to heat it up.

Clean and comfortable.

Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The bed was excellent, and the new shower is very roomy. This motel is in the centre of town, and a short walk to the river. Everything was as expected for a comfortable stay, with easy check-in and out. Despite proximity to the border crossing, it is set far back enough for a quiet stay.

Well located for our purposes
It needs a major upgrade. No working tv, no hair drier, cracked sink. Our no smoking room had been smoked in but receptionist gladly got us another room. She also attempted to fix the very old tv we had but was unable to. We cut our visit by 2 of our 3 days booked.
