Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha-Downtown

The location was great and staff was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet even with a hotel full of kiddos.

The pool walls were visibly dirty. And I wasn’t all that impressed with the breakfast.

I loved the location and how friendly everyone was!

The pool was little cold.

Staff were polite, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed the location and how easy it was to get to our hotel and how near it was to a lot of things we were in town for. Beds were comfortable.

Parking was expensive. We were on the ground level and the time of year we went, bugs are always out extra trying to get inside. We had two unwanted guests show up in our room (cricket and small beetle - NO bedbugs, I always check. The bedding was nice and clean). I don't blame the hotel for that, it's the reality of being on ground level. The a/c unit though was my main issue. It worked great but there was always a weird mildew scent that I noticed every time it turned off after running through it's cycle. I did not complain to staff as we were really only using the room to sleep but the filter probably needs to be replaced.

Location

Cold shower, room was fairly clean but the soap leaked all over the shower, there was trash on floor, some lotion shot on the ceiling or something. Nobody picked up trash until we checked out.
