Valhalla Inn

Wonderful staff, clean room and a charming inn. Highly recommend.

We had the warmest of welcomes :-) Our room was spacious and comfortable, if a little old fashioned. The owner cooks delicious Chinese food, other options were available. There’s a pub at the hotel but it isn’t open on Mondays and Tuesdays. You can still get drinks in the dining room. We wanted a light breakfast and we’re happy we could just order oatmeal with our tea and coffee. We were told where to go for a nice walk down to the lake. We ran into a mum and baby bear. We were excited and terrified as we have never come across them before. New Denver is a lovely little town and we were very sad to leave. Stay at least 2 nights if you have time. The town is lovely and the ghost town at Sandon is worth a visit (at least 2 hours but more if you can)

Location, fridge with freezer, coffee, clean, staff extremely friendly and went above and beyond

WATER SHOULD HAVE BEEN HOTTER, FIRE ALARM WENT OFF TWICE @11:30pm and woke us up

The room was clean, and the staff friendly.

The reins and hallways had an ingratiation of western conifer seed bugs.
