Access to a fridge and microwave in the communal kitchen.
The pillows were terrible and although you have access to a kitchen there isn't a single dish or piece of cutlery in it. I understand that this is a university dorm rented out for the summer so I wasn't expecting much but I also know how much is thrown out at the end of a term when students go home sometimes to a foreign country for the summer. It would cost nothing to leave a few bowls, plates or cutlery in the kitchen for use by travelers.
At the very least, travelers should be warned to bring a mug to boil water in the microwave.

The room was ok and they did provide towels but no wash rags. They had a kitchen facility but unless you have pots and pans you are reduced to just using the microwave. I think having a kettle would be nice

Location is very good. Feels safe and clean.
The windows cannot be opened more than an inch.
Unlike a hotel, noone cleans up your room or refresh towels etc.

• Everyone was helpful and friendly.
• Excellent location. Walkable to restaurants, shops, Dundas Square and the subway.
• Secure Entry. Must be buzzed in.
• Unbeatable rates
• Very clean
• Water pipe burst during our stay and it was fixed immediately. Only out of water for a couple of hours.
• It's a bed and a toilet. No frills or extras. If you just need a place to sleep at a good price, it's a perfect spot.
• The beds are ok, but the pillows are uncomfortable. Very thin.
• No facilities at all or even a place to at least get coffee. Had to go into town for everything. But at least you don't have to walk very far.
• The wifi was spotty. Once connected it worked great, but it disconnects each day and it doesn't always show up on the list of available connections.
• No TV in the room. There is a shared one in the common area though and we don't watch that much TV anyway.

The room was spacious. There is Metro supermarket next door and plenty of cafes and restaurants at walking distance as well as subway line 1 and a tram. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful.
The accommodation is a bit old and smells a bit musty. There was no kettle in the room or elsewhere to boil water to make some tea or coffee.

Didn’t have breakfast, sure it was good. It’s a good location to get Tim Hortons coffee. I liked it that it was peaceful. I liked it that it had air conditioning and wifi.
I think it’s okay but there was no tv. It’s understandable though. The pillows were not comfy but able to manage.

Good room at a fair price - good value for money considering alternatives in Toronto. Very good location - grocery store and Bike Share station very close. Downtown in walking distance.
Cleanliness could be improved. Nevertheless recommendable hotel.

Elevators weren’t working properly. Got a ticket for parking where they told me to. They charged my credit card twice!

Location was good
I've stayed in many residences and hostels over the years. This was by far the worst of them all.
- there was a definite foul odor to the room, the carpets smelled horrible.
- The bathroom sink leaked so water would drip lightly onto your foot when washing hands
- can't close bathroom door
- lights on either side of bed don't work
- mattress was hard and extremely uncomfortable, you can feel the springs through it. Flat, uncomfortable pillows. We brought our own so my daughter used the pillows to sleep on because the mattress was so uncomfortable! Threadbare, cheap blanket that barely covered the edges of the bed.
- bed was actually tilted toward the wall so you're sleeping with your feet higher than your head.

needs a tv and I was told you could park there but ended up paying a extra 30 dollars a day to park.

Quiet place when I was there, friendly staff and security was present during late/early hours. Location is quite good if you are using public transport or want to walk to places. There are plenty of places near by for breakfast etc. I don't think they had anything but a vending machine here during my stay. They seemed to be doing some reno's on the ground floor.
The room was a bit outdated and very basic but ok otherwise. Very lousy bedding/ pillows. Not sure but there might have been a joined kitchen/ sitting room with tv on the same floor but it was not clear if it could be used by summer guests, for example to use a kettle for tea or so.

The double bed, flat and firm, large desk, 2 end tables, multi draw chest, closet, 4 pc bathroom, AC, Heat, linens and free wi-fi.
Hey the lift even tell the floor you stop at eh. It is a great downtown locations minutes walk to the subway or buses. All at a great price. I had paid 50% more a year ago and it was nearby to this Toronto Metro University will be the new name.
I not sure how to access building later during the day it is 24 hour front desk and I would suggest a better info on how to unlock and lock your room. I never seen this type of process to access your room with a card key you must use to lock or unlock.
You inset the key (card) then remove the card the green light blinks and unlock or locks the door. I only used the card that unlocks and it lock itself when door is closed in other hotels.
