Northstar Resort by Vail Resorts

The property was beautiful and serene. The room was clean. The windows and view from the main room were really pretty. Instructions and directions were clear for the stay.

The TV in my main room stopped working the second day which was my only full day there. I noticed it in the afternoon and called the front desk at 2:30pm, I left a voicemail but didn’t hear back. I called again at 4:30pm because I knew they closed at 5pm. This time someone answered and said they would send maintenance to go look. Unfortunately they weren’t able to fix or replace the TV until the next day which is when I was going to check out. It was really an inconvenience because I had planned to grab pizza and go back to my room and watch TV. Since the TV wasn’t working, I tried to go watch TV and eat at the bar of the pizza restaurant, but the pizza restaurant was only open for takeout and the other restaurants were about to close. My night felt rather ruined. This trip was for me to have some space to grieve a family member that I lost this summer and I really felt like the evening was ruined. I spent several hundred dollars to spend a weekend away with a specific plan in mind and the room I paid for wasn’t able to provide that.

The folks who run the bike park and outfit the riders with gear and bikes were very kind. The staff who checks you in were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was huge

Room needed a little sprucing up, coffee pot was impossible to use, call at 9:30am on check out regarding timeshare was a little annoying.

We were not told there was no ac until we were in the room there was a little note saying no ac sorry for the inconvenience. And it was the middle of summer
