Great location, the surround area is a bit sketchy but with union square about a 2 minute walk away and pier 39 30 mins away you get a real taste of what San Francisco has to offer. Room was comfortable and had everything needed for a stay.
Breakfast was there, avoid the coffee as it’s just flavoured water when I got to it at 7.15am. That’s all that can really be said about it. Staff didn’t really want to interact with me when I had a few questions about things, they would rather watch videos on their phones.

Couldn't get much on the TV. The breakfast wasn't very good, except the coffee was excellent.
Could have used a desk in the room.
Lots of noise, but that wasn't the fault of the hotel.

Great location, area is safe, friendly staff, good value for money.
The breakfast choice is quite poor: just bread with creamed cheese, jam and flakes. But considering the price, it is okay, I guess

The location.
The Hotel is very old and needs a lot of Maintenance. The carpet looks decades old, it expels a very intense and unpleasant odour, especially at the Ground floor but also in the bedrooms. There is not aircon and my room was also hot like a sauna. The Breakfast is only coffee, OJ, white bread, some oats n some fruit.
