Capitol Hill Hotel

Exceptionally clean, very spacious room with many areas for privacy. Staff was friendly and accommodating, location is perfect for walking to nearby museums and landmarks. Will definitely stay again.

The light fixture over the table in our kitchen area was so low I walked into/stood up into at least thirty times over the course of the weekend. I am not that tall. But this is the only complaint I have, and I am only verbalizing it out of sheer hatred built up at this specific light fixture lol. Everything else was amazing

Breakfast was good with a huge variety of baked goods. Scrambled eggs, waffles, hashbrowns, & sausage was some great options. The breakfast staff were very efficient and pleasant to talk with. The front desk staff did a great job and would even open the door and very helpful with using the bikes which was a great benefit of staying here. We used the bikes twice to go to the National Mall, The Capitol, and our favorite coffee shop called Ebeneezers. Beds were comfortable and we like a lot of pillows so we were happy with that. Nice to have umbrellas to use during our stay.

Place is a little dated and no pool or jacuzzi. Price for staying here was expensive for what you get and glad we did not have a car or that would have cost a lot more. Hotel key was not working the morning we were leaving so that was a little hassle not being able to get into our room.

Location was perfect and beds were very comfy
