We loved the beautiful old house with the exotic Persian carpets and the delicious breakfast served on Grandma’s china. We’ve stayed here before in the summertime and can vouch for the lovely garden. The biggest highlight is, of course, the resident Scottie dog!

Clean and tidy. Lots of history in the property. All furniture, went with style of the property.
Robert was very accommodating and so was Hamish (dog).
Any questions, Robert was on hand to answer anything you needed to know.
Hamid loved attention, especially a good belly rub.

This was an 80% experience. The Inn, rooms,and breakfast were really good. The host was a bit of a challenge and seemed pretty self absorbed. Very soft and cold welcome, no help getting luggage to the room, and when trying to converse with other guests at the breakfast table, the Inn Keeper kept interjecting with his stories, in contrast to just letting the guests get to know each other. Pretty inconsistent with our expectations and the experiences we've enjoyed at all other Inns/B&B's.
