A step above the rest in quiet yet central location.
Well appointed, unfussy FF&E with clever efficient details like Polished Concrete finishes, Stainless Steel Sinks and dual purpose bar.

Room to small for exorbitant price

Liveliness of the hotel + always smiling & assisting staff.
Perfect location in Manhattan. Spacious rooms. Very tasteful bakery/cafe in the lobby.
Live music in the lobby bar at evenings.
You were unable to open windows in the room. The A/C heating was very noisy. The flush in the toilet was not working properly. These issues must be fixed immediately. Nevertheless, we are happy for staying in this hotel.

The ArtHouse Hotel is a little gem of a hotel. The staff was amazing and we loved everything about the hotel. We will definitely rebook with them on our next trip to NYC

Location, very helpful staff person
The room was super small and extremely expensive for what it was. We could hear the people in the next room - did not feel private

Super friendly staff and location. Rooms were bigger than the standard for NYC

The lobby. Finally got a bench seat on my third stay at this hotel.
No washcloths.

Great location on Broadway. The room was well lit with plenty of outlets for technology and a comfortable bed. Great shower. I loved the fact that the bed had a sheet and a duvet so I could add or throw off layers as needed. I don't like it when hotels only provide a duvet which can be too warm.
No soap at the bathroom sink. I had to open the shower to get soap from the pump bottle inside. I know most hotels use pump bottles now instead of bars of soap, but I don't like them. They are usually too high and require both hands to get soap out.

American Museum of National History is almost around the corner, and all the other great museums are just a short walk away, a beautiful walk across Central Park.
A stylish sitting/ reading area with many interesting art books.
Live music in the evening adds plenty of ambience (not sure it's every day, but we had it each evening of our two night stay).
Nothing really to complain about.
A small and narrow lobby sharing the reception, bar, breakfast stand and sitting area. As a result, you will have people with large suitcases often stuck between people who, at the same time, eat or drink or read or listen to the music.
Not real breakfast, just a stand with coffee and cakes.

It was perfectly located for what we needed, and it was only one minute from the parking garage where we had a reservation.
The air conditioning didn’t work very well. It was 77 degrees in the room even with the AC running the whole time, and with 3 people sharing the space and taking showers it was very uncomfortable. We arrived late, around 11 pm, and were exhausted or I would’ve asked for another room. Since we were staying only one night it didn’t seem worth the trouble. But for what we paid I expected it to be cool enough to sleep well, and it wasn’t.

Great location, nicely appointed room & great staff. House keeping staff very friendly and did a great job. Within walking distance of The Natural History Museum & Central Park. They also had a wonderful transportation flat rate to LaGuardia. Perfect ending to my trip.
Price is high but it’s NY

location is excellent, morning coffee bar super convenient and the evening bar with music is wonderful
my room was claustrophobic as “windows” looked right into a wall…no natural light and no fresh air

Location is great. Walking distance to many attractions. Very scenic walk too! Friendly staff greet at the entrance and helpful with bags.
Trouble with finding my booking in the system upon arrival. Room door needed extra effort to be closed and locked properly.

The location is great! Within walking distance to great restaurants, shops and Central Park. The elevators are terrible! It takes 5-10 mins to get an elevator! I was not able to check in early, which I did ask them for in my booking app. The coffee/breakfast is amazing and the staff is amazing.
The elevators! They are terrible! I was also not able to check in early, which was a hassle.

staff is proactive and try to find solution and get feedback from clients
my room was dirty, body wash was empty and some equipments are getting old. It’s not acceptable for a 4-star hotel

I did not eat breakfast there but noticed it was available. I stayed there 5 days, it was very convenient to local bakeries, delia and coffee shops. Easy walk to Central Park, not far from shopping. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful, as was the front desk staff.
Rooms were a bit dark. Water wasn’t available in Fitness Center. There were no wipes for equipment in Fitness Center.

They charged me twice on my room and I still didn’t be able to get my money back.

the location was amazing. the value was also fantastic. the scene in the lobby at night was also very nice. staff very friendly.
even for New York- rooms were small/tight. elevators were slow and often not operating. it smelled like a fry cook lived on my floor.
