The owner of the property is very nice. He checked me in in advance with no problem and told me about the hour change the night I was departing. The room was cleaned every morning.
The room was big and the bed comfortable. Very central location!
The WiFi was not working. It kept connecting with no Internet, so I could not use it and, since I was roaming, this was a problem. When I told the owner, he said it has not been working since the summer..

I had a small private balcony. The building was very old and quaint. The décor matched the building.
The shower and toilet were shared with other guests.

The location was the best. Close to everything.
There’s no elevator but the location make up for it.

This place might not be the right fit for everyone, but we liked it! We were on the 2nd floor(no lift, only stairs take you up) the room was very neat and had all essentials - a wash basin which helped due to the shared bathroom, a mini fridge, robes, linen and towels and a tv with local channels.
The location is excellent, this is the biggest reason we loved the place. Close to Old Town and a walk from everything you will want to see.
The breakfast was decent and a good start to the morning - fresh coffee, croissants, muffins, fruit and yoghurt. It is served on the first floor and needs to be taken up to your room to eat. I loved waking up to the smell of coffee brewing.
The owner of the B&B is courteous and helped us with parking, directions and checking in comfortably.
The shared bathroom was shared among two rooms on our floor. It was clean and we did not have a lot of problem using it if planned well. All in all I would recommend this place if you are using it as a stay for a night or two, just to sleep while exploring lovely Quebec City.

Excellent location to visit the old town.
Despite an old style decoration, the room is comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and seemed new (we also had a sink in the room).
I liked the breakfast with fruits, yogurt and croissants. We had to take it in the room but we were lucky enough to enjoy it on the balcony.
No elevator and stair is a bit narrow.

The location is great the room was great
The fact that I wasn't told or it didn't say that I had to pay $30 for parking and that you can only use one ticket per night on the third night after I left my car there for two nights I had to pay for parking again if I wanted to get my car. The owner of the hotel give me some money back but never explain to me that I had a to use a ticket per night. We thereafter my wife and I had to sleep in the car has I had forgotten the keys inside the room that was my fault but after ringing the bell for more then an hour nobody open the door therefore we slept in the car. what a nightmare.

It's an old house without AC and a bathroom that lacks privacy as it is open above. The owner is crusty and not super interested in helping or being congenial. It is clean and comfy and the price is great for being in the absolutely perfect location.

The location was absolutely phenomenal. Less than 3 minutes to walk to Chateau Frontenac and so many great cafés and sights. My room had a small balcony overlooking the rooftops of Vieux Québec.
Unfortunately the hotel is extremely dated and the decor leaves a lot to be desired. It also has the appearance of being quite run down... The blankets were all polyester and probably from the 80's. The shared bathroom's shower mat was mouldy. The breakfast offered included some mouldy fruit. I had to call to make a change on the phone and he swore loudly and shouted at somebody in the room with him which made my ear ring as it was quite unexpected. I was never given any information about Wi-Fi so I spent quite a bit of money on data as I was there for work. The parking lot is 7 minutes away and 10$ a day payable by reception providing you with a scan card. You can only park out front for 10 minutes, so keep that in mind when booking. The balcony chairs were covered in bird poop so I wasn't able to enjoy it as much as I would have liked.

The location was good and the price was very good.
the innkeeper did not speak much English (I know we were in Quebec but everywhere else I stayed and went there was someone that spoke English). it made it difficult to figure out parking and no way could he help with directions or suggestions. I felt that he was not happy to have a guest who did not speak fluent French.

No frill but all basic facilities. Excellent location with all attractions within walking distance. When going TO train or bus station, it is easy and down hill about a km. Basic but good breakfast
As this accommodation is at a height Must take a cab to come to it (about 10 CAD from train and bus station). If coming from airport, take a bus to central bus station (CAD 3.75 each) and then a cab to hotel (10 CAD)

The location is perfect, if you plan to see a lot of the old town. The room was very clean. The breakfast was tasty.
Wi-fi does not work well, so it can be a bit hard to do work. The equipment is a bit outdated.

Location was superb - close to most attractions! The hotel seemed relatively clean and tidy.
The shared bathroom was the worst part of the trip. The door's lock was just a simple hook, that said, I didn't worry about anyone barging in but a proper lock would have been appreciated . The shower was just a bath with a grounded shower head making bathing a one handed endeavor, all the while the shower head it self was cracked and had a steady supply of water shooting out of the handle.

The location is good and parking was covered
The website says every room has a private bathroom, but this is not the case- the rooms share a bathroom. Also on the website it advertises high speed wifi but this is also completely false- the manager even stated that the wifi is not usable

Every tourist attractions was around and just within walking distance.
Everything was perfect.

Room was clean, perfect location
No flexibility for early check in, no wifi and no compensation offered for wifi failure, very cold communication with the owner, no breakfast room (breakfast in your room which was a bit depressing) no free parking ($10 /day) I think it was not suitable for my needs as a solo traveller. I needed wifi to work so that's why I chose a hotel instead of a hostel.
