I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always loved it. The location is great

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always loved it. This time felt very different. There were a few good staff members but many were not nice and actually kind of snotty. They have also implemented several extra fees. This hotel has always had free parking and now that charge $20 per night. They also charge an early check in fee even if rooms are readily available. I have always chose this hotel because they didn't nickel and dime me. If they are going to start that, there are many other options in the area that frankly are nicer establishments so if I'm going to pay all the extra fees I might as well stay somewhere nicer. The pool area also seemed way more run down. Broken tiles, The bottom of the pool looked kind of dirty. All of this really does disappoint because this has always been my go to hotel and I visit naples 2-3 times per year (sometimes more). I have free places to stay at friends houses but I chose to stay here. I might not going forward.

The changes since my last visit in past November; new parking payment, even when late parking is difficult, very small and poor quality pool towels, no discount for breakfast, no free continental breakfast, no magnifier or makeup mirror in the bathroom ….
