The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious. The gift shop was amazing!!!

The room smelled of smoke. We didn't get directions to the room and it took us a bit to find it. The check-in clerk was not the friendliest, but that just might be Chicago.

Window shades in room broken and open half way. Staff did not respond to my inquiry. I was told I had to wait until 7:30 the next morning and talk to the manager.

The room was fine.

The maids came in when I was gone to clean and they literally stole from me! My phone charger was on the table plugged in and I came back and it was gone. My $50 charger. And my bags were gone through! Who knows what else they took. I always put the thing on the door so they don’t come in and I totally forgot. If you stay here do NOT let them come in!

Most hotels of this price have a free breakfast and Skokie, IL Holiday Inn did not. If there were more choices in the area, I would have booked somewhere else with free breqkfast. Would have been a better value for me. I did like that there is a Keurig in my room.

At 7 AM, I asked for towels instead of a room cleaning and the desk worker suggested I come back after my workday to request them. And I said, that is why I am here now. Some in customer service need to seek ways to make it convenient for the customer. Just saying.

The only thing that was liked was Stephanie the lady that was doing breakfast Very very nice.

Everything pretty much The room was dirty We didn't have a t.v remote till the last day The floors was dirty We had a hole in the wall, the door stopper from the bathroom door was broken, the light switch cover was broken., The housekeeper that came in while we was gone took the money that was in the room. The bathroom floor was disgusting, the bathroom sink didn't close like I was just straight open so the water went down we need it to close for a reason. The room was way smaller then expected, they had a event it was Infront of our room and they was loud kept my son up.

The parking was odd and a long ways from our room. Didn't appear a shorter way to park to carry luggage in.

I requested a king size bed when I put in the reservation but was told at check in that my reservation showed two full size beds. The desk clerk did change it to a king size beds for me.

It has a hot tub.

When we were at the front desk checking in we were told if our room was not clean come back down. It was not clean. The sheets were off the bed and there were empty pop bottles all over. We went down to the pool and hot tub, and there were no clean towels. Then we went to the restaurant, they told us at 9:00 the kitchen was closed, but the restaurant didn't close til 11.

I liked the location and very comfortable beds and pillows

There was a hole in our hote room wall to the outside. The hotel said they would credit us a night or more, but since the booking was done through Booking.com, we have towork through the third party. Booking.com has been slow in processing the matter so far we've been offered a 5% money return on our booking. Quite a disappointment. Also the hotel middle area carpets stink of old curry, and its its very load around that middle srea by the pool and the gym. (Read other people's reviews and request to be in rooms away from pool area). Hallways were full of noisy people celebrating on Xmas eve, not ideal if you're traveling with small children. The staff at front desk could smile more and be more flexible.
