The pool bar

Pool area was great and beautiful views, pool staff was excellent.

Our Ac in the room was out. So hot. They did move us right way. But was a pain to have to move rooms. Because we we’re right next to our family. All ice Machines were not working.

The room was spacious, albeit outdated.

Staff was rude, especially at the front desk. Pool out of service first day (no heads up on that from anyone before we arrived). The golf course wouldn’t answer the phone, the spa was outrageously overpriced. Don’t forget the resort fee for 2 waters in the fridge per day. What a joke. List goes on. This is the kind of place they can fool you once but not the place people come back once they’ve stayed once. Will certainly avoid next time.

We've been visiting La Paloma for several years. This was one of the most disappointing stays we've encountered. First, we got put into a top-level room on a building where the elevator went out. Knowing that the staff was aware of this issue, having to carry all of my families bags upstairs was a little uncalled for. At least offer someone to help us with that. I understand there was a storm that came through before our stay, but the pool area just wasn't clean enough. The decking was muddy and dirty, the bar of Sabinos was greasy, the area around the slide, and its stairwell just felt nasty to walk on barefooted. Also, I had to go behind the desk twice to get my own waters because no staff was present. There was no music around the pool area. That's kind of a big deal when hanging out around a pool Sabinos, the chicken tenders, were horrible, and I caught the chef (the one with the green hair) eating the food as she was cooking it. After all of this, the most disappointing thing about Westin is that we've been visiting this place for so long, and there haven't been ANY noticeable updates done in YEARS!!! Especially to the pool area. It needs a makeover. Just walking around that place is an inconvenience, especially if you have a stroller! There aren't enough umbrellas either.

The resort was fun! We enjoyed the pools! Staff was very polite! The bellman are the best!!! Funny guys! They treated us well!

The room was outdated and the carpet smelled of possibly cats or a horse? Lol! The resost was empty and they still placed us in Building E which is quite aways away from everything. Not sure why they were filling the back buildings when nobody was there? Other than that the stay was amazing!

Everything, the staff went above and beyond for us, very nice and helpful, hotel was beautiful and very clean. Loved it so much ended up booking extra days

how far away from the main building we were. I was there for a week and ask to be moved closer but they didn’t do it.

The views are breathtaking. Bed was comfy, peaceful.

The facilities were upgraded but the tile in the shower wasn’t great, the fridge broken, stains on the bedsheet and wear and tear around the hotel. The dining area was dirty, staff were pretty friendly everywhere but the pool. I don’t like the wristband feature at the pool, parking is far from rooms.

The patio and the lobby. Also the layout of hotel in general. The food at the Contigo restaurant was very good. The pool was nice but crowded. The parking lot is also nice and roomy.

The bed blanket, pillows and sheets were covered with fur or human hair. Most likely fur. There was also fur on the couches and chairs. The carpet was also dirty and a little old. After we reported the issue, the cleaning crew did good about fixing the problem.

Location was nice.

Two of the pools were out for maintenance which was too bad since one was the kid pool and I have two toddlers that don’t know how to swim yet. The service was very slow at the main restaurant as well, and that was challenging. Also, I tried to set up a stay at the kids club for my kids but no one returned my phone calls/messages over a period of four days.

The rooms didn’t have a nice view and once, at breakfast time, the didn’t give us a table to seat because we didn’t had a reservation (which we didn’t knew we needed to), we ask for something because we had 5 kids starving and they just say NO, as if we were asking for something free
