The room was nice, we stayed in a top floor suite in one of the towers and it was spacious and comfortable. The pools themselves were great and a good temperature. Staff were very friendly.

The worst aspect of this hotel was the extortionate policy of having to pay for literally any shade at the poolside. Whilst this is common at a lot of hotels/resorts, what isn't so common is the price - minimum $650 (!) to rent two sun-loungers with a parasol for one day (!), which is more than it cost for our entire 3 night stay. Essentially, given the heat outside during our stay (around 42 degrees some days), sitting in full blown sunshine for hours at a time simply wasn't an option. If this sounds like you, then at this hotel you have two options. One is to pay that ridiculous amount for some shade, the other is to queue up before the pool opens and join the race for the ~10-20 seats that happen to get some shade from trees during certain times of day (that's a very low percentage of the overall sunbeds on offer). But it really is a race, and you won't win it. At one point, my wife and I found a small alcove (maybe 2 x 2m behind our loungers, attached to the Wet Republic building beside the pool. It wasn't cordoned off, seemed to be next to an unused maintenance entrance, and my wife stood under it for maybe 2 minutes to cool off. She left to get another towel and I took her place, at which point a rude security guard came and told me to get out because it was private property that the hotel didn't own. She suggested we rent a cabana if we want some shade. Oh, great idea, let me just grab the ~$2000 I reserve for not getting sun cancer and splash it on a cabana for the day. Other than that, they also rip you off for food and sandwiches (only $15 for a basic ham sandwich, bargain). At the poolside cafe we tried to order two burgers, no drinks, and were told we needed to present ID to complete the purchase. I've never been ID'd for burgers before, and of course didn't have my ID on me because why would I bring my passport poolside to burn to death with me? We ate elsewhere. Resort fee (for what?

The entire stay was great it was a getaway for me and my Lady and we will be back regularly

We loved our spacious and clean room. The balcony was great with a nice view. We enjoyed using the bath with jets. The walk to MGM/the strip was convenient and didn’t feel too far. I would stay here again.

We were sad the pool closed at 5 pm. We checked in at 3 pm so there wasn’t much time to enjoy the pool.

Distance from main MGM hotel and strip (felt like 1/4 mile) no automated walkways. In the suite there were no glasses, dishes or cutlery not even disposable so for a suite was odd

Our suite was amazing with amazing views of the city . I wish the price point was a little more economical so we could have stayed longer .

The prices for everything on the resort were exorbitant but everywhere we went they were expensive
