Location was perfect for the reason we were there. Short walk to the Stress Factory and lots to do and see in the area. Nice little town that you can walk through if the weather is good. I recommend this location.
Restaurant was not open on Friday, but they did serve you at the bar/lounge area. Also, they had no steak available. Seemed like limited choice on their menu, but the burger was good and the staff was great, friendly and attentive.

The spa
The broken tv in our room. Watching on it was bearable but annoying and not what I would expect to find at a hotel like this one.

The hotel was very conveniently located for my visit to Rutgers, and my room was always very clean and tidy. The housekeeping and maintenance staff did an excellent job throughout my stay. I also want to mention Sela at breakfast, who was especially kind and gracious in trying to accommodate my vegan and gluten-free diet despite the limited options available. The gym is small but functional, and I appreciated having it available during my stay.
Although everything was clean, the hotel and some of the furnishings are showing their age. The curtains in my room had some holes, as did one of the towels, and the corners of the desk were peeling. These are small details individually, but together they made the room feel dated and in need of some refreshing. Some of the gym equipment was also quite old. Breakfast was expensive, especially considering the very limited vegan and gluten-free options.

It’s a central location, especially if you are attending the theatre or meeting people at Rutgers.
It’s very dated and there was no catering insight while I was there, the surrounding area didn’t feel very safe.
