DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Newark Airport

The hotel is really clean and comfortable

We came after the check in time and the room still wasn’t ready, that was actually not so comfortable after a long flight

The breakfast was nice wish I knew I can included it in my stay then me pay separately.

How when I need a cleaning lady to clean my stuff had a wait a certain time for them to clean my room. when I came back from my wedding event for my friend my bed was maid and cleaned and my pjs was on the floor not on the bed I didn’t even leave there when I left my room I know where I left it too. I was making videos with it in the floor so didn’t appreciate that part. Also bathroom and the tub need to definitely be updated and the tiles. It’s giving project housing bathroom and also the balcony was hard to open had to get the maintenance guy to help do it cuz it had a safety on it and wish there was a note or signs to say to get maintenance guy to help cuz it had a safety on it. I could’ve have broke a nail or car keys trying push the lock down and slide the door open.

Beautiful property with lots of nice options, 24 hr gym. Pool during day time as well as a bar and food options.

If I was traveling to and from the airport I’d have given it 4 stars but kind of annoying from Newark Penn station. It’s also not walkable to anywhere really. Designed for people with cars more.

I had booked a 12th floor city view room. Got a 9th floor, no view room.

didn't get the room I had booked
