The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore

Great location. Clean.

Took 4 attempts to get all the packages we had delivered as kept not being given all of them. Restaurant on property incredibly slow and understaffed. Gave up and left restaurant after waiting a long time for a drink or a menu. Kept being told, I’ll get to you.

Everything except what is noted below

The hotel bar/restaurant. Very blah. Small, no music. Food not worth the price per another guest so we did not order.

The view is out of this world!!!! Front desk was awesome!!!!

There was nothing NOT to like.

Check in was smooth and our room was extra large with a garden view.

Rooms are very dated, paint peeling, dirty carpets etc. Understaffed in the bar kitchen and dining rooms (apparently they did not think that anyone staying for the All Black South African game would return to the hotel after the game to eat and drink) 2 hour wait for food, plus a bar man that tried really hard but had no idea about serving people in order. So drinks were taking at least 20-40 minutes for some. Our room was not made up one of the 3 days we stayed. The Concierge just watched us struggle with our luggage whilst lifting the bags into the car. So for the huge cost of our stay it was underwhelming. The hotel itself could be amazing if updated and staffed correctly.
