Holiday Inn & Suites Overland Park-Conv Ctr by IHG

The breakfast that was included with our stay. And it was easy to locate and easy in and out drive to main roads nearby.

None of the toilets we used both in our room and in the main floor would flush We always had to flush it 3-4 times for the bowl to clear.

Personable staff, great customer service…..especially the lady working the breakfast buffet on Saturday morning 7-10am, on August 29, 2026.

Our room toilet would not flush on first attempt every time. Sometimes we had to flush it 3 times…it was terrible actually.

This was in a great location with easy in/out access. The parking was great as it was on-site and free. The room was clean and comfortable.

The toilet had very little flush in it. Not sure if the upper tank was adjusted wrong, but not much water came out of it. It would usually take five or six flushes to properly get everything down; no matter if it was a #1 or #2. The shower wouldn't properly work either. When pulling up the lever to turn on the shower, it wouldn't go all the way up to shut off the flow to the faucet to divert to shower. Shower would have low flow at that point.

Room had all of the omnieties I appreciate and was cool and comfortable. Except that the pull out was not comfortable and once it was out there was not room to do much else.

The breakfast was just like any other hotel. Mediocre. It is advertised like its a restaurant style breakfast worth paying extra to have included. It is not. And the service at breakfast was terrible. I waited until my meal was cold for any sort of drink because they have to bring them to you instead of being part of the buffet. It was certainly not anything I would pay extra for again. The bar in the hotel closes at 9pm on a weekend, which seems a little like it shouldn't be there at all. None of the staff was particularly friendly.
