Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Byram by IHG

The breakfast was great. I commend the kitchen staff. They kept the buffet fresh and filled. The room was nice and comfortable. The housekeeping staff changed out the towels and made the bed.

Housekeeping didn't clean the toilet nor vacuum the floor. Their were stains in the toilet that we thought would have been taken care of when we returned to our room, but it wasn't. There was stuff tracked in on the floor that we thought would have been vacuumed, or swept up, but it wasn't.

Staff was so kind and helpful. Very welcoming and ready to serve.

Room smelled bad at first like sewage or poop but it improved.

The property seems a bit old and needs some upgrading.

I didn't eat breakfast! I am not a morning person!

There was only one person working the front desk. It just took a very long time getting people registered for their rooms. The second thing I dont like is that you are not a pet friendly hotel. If you have a small animal that is potty trained, they should be allowed to travel with their owners if they sign a document stating that the pet is 100 percent their responsibility and they will watch the animal at all times or contain them in one area of the room if that person leaves the property for whatever reason.
