Hampton Inn Key Largo

I am disabled and was able to get onto the beach with no problem. the breakfast was terrific. Norma , the cook, is amazing. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the veranda. The beds and pillows were amazing.

Friendly stuff, nice beach area and bar, close to wildlife and great breakfast.

The rooms are a bit outdated but this was visible on photos before, so no surprise.

The property is very nice. The staff is excellent very friendly and always smiling and greeting every guest. The Property had a beach , pool . They kayaks , stand up paddle boards and fishing gear available for rent and bait to purchase on site all at very reasonable rates. The property is undergoing rehabilitation ,building upgrades and remodeling. Even with the work being as a guest you would not notice any work going on in the background. Breakfast was good and the staff constantly keep the dining area clean and stocked. The staff was safety conscious when it rained the staff was outside drying the pavement with leaf blowers to ensure guest safety.

The pillows were very very thin and the ceiling fan squeaked. I mentioned this the manager upon departing and she stated to me they were getting new linens and room equipment during the upgrades. The property needs to update on their website that they no longer have sofa beds in the rooms. Due to the size of the new room furniture. This was not an issue as they brought into our room a folding bed in place of the sofa bed.

Tolle Lage, idealer Ausgangsort um die Keys zu erkunden, auch Key West ist als Tagestrip noch gut möglich zu fahren. Kleiner feiner Pool sowie die nette Bar mit dem kleinen Privatstrand/ Bootsanleger/ Pier haben uns gut gefallen.

Das eintönige landestypische Frühstück und dass dieses Motel etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. In unserem Zimmer roch es recht muffig und es war dort im direkten Vergleich zu all unseren anderen Hotels während unserer Reise spürbar feucht. Wir vermuten dass es mit der Klimaanlage und den alten Teppichen zu tun hat. Aber fairerweise muss man erwähnen, dass das Motel gerade renoviert wird. Danach wird es hoffentlich sein volles Potential wieder ausschöpfen können.
