Mountain View Lodge

Location and price

Fresh updated coffee

A decent room.

I found it very pleasing slept very well and had fun in the pool

Not much that I didn't like

The staff was friendly. The location was good and close to hiking trails.

The room was damp with a bad musty smell along with fungus gnats living around the bathroom sink. I would have asked for a different room, but the hotel was completely booked. I was put on the 2nd floor with my dog even though I had booked in advance. No elevator, just cement steps. My room was directly above the smoking area, and I am allergic to cigarette smoke. The room looked clean but didn't smell clean. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, so I didn't get much sleep. It was not a good value with so many issues to deal with. I will not stay there again.
