Room was good, great shuttle service to town and back. The lounge pianist Bill Trowell was an unexpected treat. Its free to watch him but you feel like you should have paid $100 a ticket to get in.
No free breakfast, we ate at the Looking Glass restaurant on the property. Good food but very slow service.

Having the island shuttle for transportation was a plus.
There was no fan in the bathroom and the 2 large dogs parking for several hours in the room
Next door was not pleasant.

Location, great windows and balcony. Quiet. Definitely the best room in that building. Lounge was relaxing and fun. Nice bar with the basics. Close enough to walk downtown, if so inclined (~.7miles). Pool would be nice and quiet in hotter weather. Staff was phenomenal, honest and friendly. Will stay again and request same room in future. A little expensive for the value, but it’s a popular destination.
I think it’s a bit overvalued, but okay. the bathroom was sufficient, but needed a little updating. Other than that fine, could also clearly hear neighbors conversations, but it was mid week, so not very busy. Nothing that would make me not recommend it or have anything bad to say.

Decent restaurant for breakfast. Close to downtown Bar Harbor.
Way overplayed on their ‘online presentation; not near as nice as portrayed. Small rooms especially the bathroom. Thought we had an ocean view but not so. Was clean but very very simple.
