Mountain Modern Jackson Hole

Our room at Mountain Modern was gigantic - we were stunned by its size and amenities. It was like a one-bedroom apartment, with a well-appointed kitchen, so much space and TWO bathrooms. The staff was super friendly and the facility has great amenities - pools, jacuzzis, the Triple M restaurant right on property. It's a fabulous place - we very much enjoyed our stay. We also appreciated how close it was to the town - we rarely needed our car (only using it for drives to/from the airport, national park or Teton Village.)

The only drawback of this lodging is the cost - but we learned that's basically the cost of visiting this beautiful haven nestled near a magnificent national park. My Mama always taught me, "you get what you pay for" - and that was definitely true for our stay at Mountain Modern. One second minor challenge was the parking. We came back a little later one night (around 9 PM) and because there was no vacancy, we really had to hunt around for a spot.

The location of the property is perfect

I wish a dresser or drawers of some sort were on our room. The size of the room could have easily accommodated something.

We had a really great room over the Triple M bar/restaurant, with a lovely long balcony and a good way off the highway. We loved how close we were to town and all the restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable and the bar was never noisy. We did hear our neighbors but they provided earplug which was quite thoughtful. The toiletries smelled nice and included everything you might want. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which was really handy. The bed and bedding was really comfortable and faced a fireplace so the tv was off to the side. We didn’t use the fireplace but it would add a nice ambiance. We are big tv watchers but someone else might find the tv location inconvenient.

We could hear our neighbors when they came in at night so the soundproofing could definitely have been better. To add a couple little nitpicks (overall not a big deal): there was no shelf or anything in the shower to place our own toiletries, the room had hooks but no hangers if you need to hang a dress or something nice, the clock radio had outlets to plug in a phone cable but there were no outlets at all on either bedside that weren’t in use (there was one near the luggage bench), there were no luggage racks (just one bench) so a suitcase had to be put on the ground.

Great location. Room was clean and comfortable.

Zero insulation. An hear every word of surrounding units, but they do provide ear plugs — a must! Rates are not commensurate with unit.
