Bellingham Lodge

great staff, nice

//

Breakfast waffle was good.

Would've liked decaf coffee available in the dining area and low-fat yogurt, and a bit of cheerful smile from the morning staff wouldn't hurt. Noisy footsteps from room overhead, and small noises from the heater area interrupted sleeping. TV not responsive to remote.

Front desk staff were all excellent over 3 night stay! Great location and great value. Not a chain.

It’s run down, but clean enough, and there seem to be renters living there, but for the price and proximity to WWU and downtown, it’s a great deal.

Close to I-5

Breakfast had only a few options only a waffle, yogurt and orange juice,. No oatmeal, eggs, sausage or bacon. Then the 1 waffle per person was disappointing. Wait staff was not polite. The lady making waffles seemed like she didn't like her job and didn't want to be there. Housekeeping was not kind either. Check out time is 11:00am and housekeeping barges thru the door at 10;45am while I'm gathering my things to leave. I do not recommend staying here.
