The location

The description said it had a full kitchen but it did not have an oven which I was going to use to make dinner. The quality of the products used in the kitchen was very low end. No privacy due to the rooms not having closed walls.

I like the room and it was peaceful and quiet. We was close to the lake, stores, and restaurants

The jazzucci tub was hard to turn on and off,and the elevators were extremely slow

Great hotel, close to downtown and the lake.

The first several nights, our key cards would not work. It’s highly inconvenient, when you wanna be in your room, to have to go to front desk to fix your key cards. If you decide to atay an extra night or two, it’s a big hassle. They won’t tell you you this upfront, but Your keys will no longer work and another lengthy pre-registration will happen.

Great location, nice big rooms- clean. Nice pools.

At 4 am we were aggressively disturbed by 2 irate and overwhelmed security guards pounding on our door. They yelled at us and I was afraid to open the door by the anger and tone in his demands. He never showed identification. We were not sure if this was a prank or some disturbed or inebriated person. Once i called front desk and felt safe to open the door he unleashed his frustration on us for not opening the door and told us to pack up an leave! He threatened us! Apparently he was looking for someone who got away from him and suspected this person was hiding in one of the rooms on our floor. This poorly trained guard thought the best way to handle this was to scare and harass innocent people who were sleeping. Highly unprofessional. When he realized he had made a mistake, he did not apologize but actually kept taking out his anger on us. It was like a bad dream. My 85 year old mom was scared so needlessly. I get that it was Country Thunder weekend and things were a bit “sideways” for many guests but we had nothing to do with that. We were sleeping peacefully in our beds and were frightened by this shameful, poorly trained guard. Hotel management should have comped our night stat- they did not.

The location is great. The staff at front desk was great. Very helpful. The bartenders at the restaurant were great

The location to downtown Lake Geneva is wonderful.

The Cove sent out an email stating that their indoor pool was closed. (15 dollar resort fee / night) When asked why the resort fee was still assessed, the response received was that it was under repair but we could still use the arcade and parking facilities. Never have we heard a hotel state parking as an amenity, especially when local overnight parking is available. Upon arrival we saw the pool was open and being used, to our disappointment now without swimwear. Front desk had no response when questioned about our experience other than they were told to send out the email.. The unit we stayed in needs repairs, TV, dishwasher, a new mattress and more comfortable furniture. Buyer beware units vary by owner. The Cove is not very sound proof so be ready for a noisy night. Certainly was overpriced, although the location had benefits.
