The Hotel Telluride

Great location

No parking When we arrived we were told we had to park on the street as the garage was full. How do you not have enough parking for all your rooms.

Breakfast was great. Had omlettes and they were so good. Bruce, the transportation driver was excellent. Counter help was outstanding. Really enjoyed the stay.

The pillows were super comfy the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating

I think the carpets could use a good steam cleaning

The Hotel advertises that it can't guarantee a parking space will be available for every vehicle (fair enough). However, they don't disclose (until check-in) that the only alternative to Hotel parking is STREET PARKING IN A PERMIT-RESTRICTED RESIDENTIAL AREA around the hotel with a 2-HOUR TIME LIMIT ENFORCED BY CITATION AND TOWING. If you have a larger pick-up, SUV or RV, it's worse, as the hotel provides only TWO (2) spaces on-property for larger vehicles-- thus it's highly likely you won't secure an on-property space (as was our experience). Thus, to park our pick-up we needed to: (1) compete with local residents to find a parking spot; (2) monitor and move our vehicle at least every 2 hours from 8 am to 6 pm; or (3) risk a citation/fine and towing (see photo of enforcement posting). I witnessed several shiny new parking enforcement vehicles circling the area and the City appeared serious about enforcement. For $600/night we expected better parking accommodation. Knowing this situation in advance, we would have NOT chosen this property.
