When we checked in, the proprietor immediately asked us what we were here for. When we said we wanted to do a few hikes, he pulled out a map for us and marked off the spots we said we wanted to go, told us how to get there, and gave us several great recommendations for restaurants as well. Great service! The room was spacious, very clean, and the AC worked great. Toiletries were nice, plenty of towels, and the shower had good water pressure. The bed was very comfy along with the pillows. There was a couch, coffee table, desk, and the usual TV/refrigerator/microwave, but we only used the fridge to keep water cold. There is a large sink and granite vanity area which was separate from the bathroom, giving us plenty of space to pull ourselves together after a long hot hike in Sedona. Not to mention the nice views outside the hotel. And it is in easy walking distance to a lot of nice places to eat. There is a pool but we only used it once. I would also add that at first we were a little concerned that it was not in Sedona proper, but the Village of Oak Creek. We soon found out that was a much more relaxed place to be, not anywhere near as touristy and congested as in the Sedona city limits.

Can't think of any negatives for this place.

The location is great

The room was large. It had the basics and the bed was comfortable enough.

I received a message that the venue accepted my request to have a ground floor room at no additional charge, but after registration the clerk put me upstairs and said I'd need to pay more to use one of the many unrented 1st floor rooms and she said she couldn't rent my room saying it was used when I had not used it yet. Also I wanted a view of my car as it was filled with my property and the view from the window faced a maintenance closet and 2 dirty traffic cones in the outside hall.
