Salishan Coastal Lodge by SCP Hotels

The location was beautiful, area clean and staff friendly

For the price, the rooms are not very comfy anymore. They replaced furniture with IKEA style table and chairs so all you really need have to sit in in the room is the bed.Bed is minimally comfortable, was glad to have multiple pillows to support back etc. on top of the cost of the room they also charge you 35.00 a day for resort amenities… other then a pool and very limited work out/ hot tub and sauna, not sure what I was being charged for.

I love this resort. It’s a stunning property that is dog friendly and has amazing facilities. The spa is probably my favorite in the world with stunning views and luxurious treatments. They’ve done a great job maintaining this gem.

Gorgeous landscaping and room design

Had some issues getting room service

The services (massages) at the spa were amazing. The staff were kind and helpful and the lobby and shared guest areas were lovely.

The rooms need a face lift for the price (furniture was missing cushion buttons, the bed feels old and the frame had years of head grease stained on the wood) and if there is no ac only heat and a pilot light constantly running in the fireplace, there needed to be screens on the patio doors to not let in all the bugs. Our room was 72 degrees when the temperature was 80 outside. The bathroom sink was cracked and the rubber tub mat is pretty gross thinking of years of feet absorbed into it. The “art” of a 1980s colored beta fish checkerboard on the walls made no sense.
