I liked the location.

The one encounter I had with staff was unpleasant. The desk clerk was surly and unfriendly when we checked in.

Near to North entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. A couple of decent eateries and bars within walking distance (29 Palms is pretty spread out).

This is a solid, lower budget, reliable kind of motel. Old school and down to earth. The kitchen is a nice addition to the king size room.

Each room is actually a mini house that comes with a kitchen. But there were no kichenware like cooking pot or pan. You may need to ask the staff to borrow should you want to cook.

Great value for this motel with a big pool. Very clean rooms and the staff was nice. Perfect stop during a road trip.

It’s a motel so this is not surprising but the walls were paper thin. I got woken up at 6am because of what I thought were some weird pipes noise only to realize that I was actually hearing the neighbor’s phone vibrating.

The place is conveniently located 15 min drive from a Joshua Tree entrance. We arrived late and were greeted by kind staff that checked us in quickly and also allowed us in the pool even if we were a bit later than closing time. The room was spacious and clean. It had also been cooled before our arrival as the temperature outside was in the 90's.

There are some dining options around and although we walked as we were tired of driving, one would probably feel more comfortable / safer driving as the hotel is far from the nearest place and you'd have to cross a deserted and not well lit parking space for trucks.

Very clean, and great location and friendly receptionist. Easy to offload luggage since could park in front of room.

Small towel and intermittent hot water during shower. Also TV volume would not go very low.
