Too hot in the room AC was not the best!!

Our original room was too small. We requested upgrade and since bigger room was available we move in. The hotel is renovated, has great restaurant with outdoor sitting, wonderful menu. Location is very good in historical central street with all shops and restaurants within walking distance. Another attraction was Covered Bridge area on Yuba river where one can swim - great outing 25 minutes away.
Be aware that their basic rooms are small. Ours did not even have a chair to sit in. It was hard to find place for 2 suitcases.

Charming historic hotel, great downtown location, excellent dinner at hotel restaurant, clean renovated rooms
Claw foot tub/shower was too wobbly for us, but luckily we were able to change rooms

Beautiful property with a great location but filthy room
Room was dirty, sheets had hair, expensive for poor cleaning. Not sure sheets had been changed and complaint was not addressed.
