We travel To Tampa about once a month and this is our preferred stay. The staff is always helpful.
I always like an extra bath towel in the room

Coffee available 24/7, also a water bottle filling station. Breakfast available daily. They had Nutella but no peanut butter for toast, English muffins, bagels which was odd. Laundry facilities onsite for guest use. Convenient location within walking distance (within 1-2 miles) of three grocery stores, restaurants, other retail stores.
Some occasional crawling insects present on floor and ceiling of room, but otherwise clean. Dead frog visible in laundry area (outside). Only fresh apples at breakfast, no other fresh fruit options. Room with kitchenette I reserved initially had no desk, couch, (pullout bed) or table/chair(s) so I had to sit on my bed to eat, work. (They were able to move me to another room that had these features.)

The room was large with a couch, desk, microwave and refrigerator. The hotel was quiet even though it is located on a busy road. I really liked the 24 hr free coffee in the front office, nice and strong. I also appreciated the designated smoking area with benches and ashtrays, conveniently located near my room.
Pillows were not up to par.

We were in RM 228.. the room though clean had a smell. We think it was from perhaps a cleaning agent. As that end of your property smelled like our room. The only other complaint is that there was a gap under our door that any rodent or bug could come in. We put a towel down to prevent that but just so you know. We loved Tampa and everyone was nice at your property.
