Both pools were cold even though they claim to be heated.

The view was very good, overlooking the ocean, which was my request. So no complaints there. The parking garage was convenient, but I should not have been charged as a guest.

Since I went through booking.com, I was not entitled to other upgrades even though I requested a king-size bed with no children. I know there were other rooms available. So, the games being played is very disappointing to experience, considering I paid well over $250 per night for this room. The room and facilities are tired. The room key kept deactivating if it was next to a cell phone in my wife's pocketbook. Had to get it reset three times. Entry to get into the room was fickle, and the door seemed to be swollen or very tight to open. It took me, as a man, some strength to push the door open. No shower coming off the beach to rinse your feet. A beachside hotel should always have this. The breakfast sit-down restaurant was fair at best at a premium price. I would not recommend it. This place needs a facelift.

Showing wear and tear. Stated there when it was new and it was very nice. Now not much different than any other older beach hotel in OC. Hallways extremely hot. Carpet needs replaced.
