bed was comfortable and staff was pleasant. pool area is really nice.

room is dated. there were mosquitos in the room. hallways smelled musty.

Location, things to do

the room was dirty, there was old food in the refrigerator that smelled. Had to throw it away in lobby trash so it would stink up the room. Had obviously been there for awhile. Questioning how well they clean the rooms.

We didn’t have breakfast. It was crazy the night before trying to have dinner, so, we didn’t even try for breakfast.

More help for the front desk and a lot more help for the dinner crew… The only other complaint I have is, the bathroom floor was dirty. No excuse for that. Everything else was ok. The front desk person Jamie was absolutely, a delight!

A bit noisy in the morning

They have new floors that were really nice to push a wheelchair on in the standard queen room we stayed in. We had our aunt with us who is in a wheelchair, there were no ADA rooms available when we checked in so we had to stay in a standard room. We also had our little dog with us and it was really nice to be able to have him and have easy access to take him pretty much everywhere on the campus with us.

The floors had been recently replaced and the smell was intense! We stayed on the ground level somewhat close to the lobby and it was pretty much constant noise outside from people coming in and out and walking above us.

The restaurant was fabulous. The pool was lovely. We loved that it was indoors.

Would love the pool to be connected to the main building.

Wonderful pool and fitness center. The beds are so comfortable. I enjoy staying here when passing through. It is worth the drive out of town.

The restaurant is hit or miss. The drinks and chowder were great, but the other items are either undercooked or overcooked.

We stay here at least once every year, this place is gorgeous and has amazing activities available for everyone

The lodge staff was lacking in personality this trip. We had to check in late because no rooms were clean. Couldn't eat dinner at their restaurant because it's "reservations only" but 1- nobody told us that at check in and 2- half the restaurant was empty when we came to get some food and 3- it's never been rez only in the past. It took me 30 minutes to get a latte one morning, the barista kept telling me she would be right with me but she had terrible time management skills. They were "short staffed" but the hotel was "full" for the weekend? We asked for an extra hour at check out and was told NO. I demanded it anyways since we were forced to check in late. This is our first sub-par experience here. I hope it's just a one-off because we have to stay here for a tournament every year.

We were there Christmas season, beautifully decorated lobby!

We had an electric car, and there is only one charging station for the entire hotel.

I did not like the $14 resort fee they attached on top of the room rate. This was only an overnight stay so there would be no time to take any advantage of the resort. This was not disclosed during booking. In my opinion, a resort fee should not be attached to overnight stays, that just taking advantage.

Decorated for the holiday. Otherwise there was nothing exceptional compared to other hotels ive stayed in.

Booking.com was misleading in their information about amenities. High priced with no continental breakfast which was supposed to be according to booking.com Pet friendly meant $60 more to have my 6 pound doggie to stay with us for 2 nights No microwave. Must choose packages in order to get the ammentities you want which is not included in booking.coms information on the hotel. Did not stay. Had a medical emergency which sent us home not one hour after arriving.

Beautiful location and fantastic lodge! we have family 5 mins away so super convenient.

Only complaint was not having hot water for a shower. We ran the water for 20mins as it was too cold to stand in. it finally got up to warm for a couple mins then shot back down to cold which was not good when I had jumped in. Needed a shower to prepare for a meeting later that day. My husband tried after me again and couldn’t get hot water and had to skip a shower all together. I let the front desk know and they said sometimes they have hot water issues when the lodge is pretty full. Disappointed and not sure we’d stay there next time as we’ll be back in the area in the future.
