Hollister Inn

Didn't take advantage of the breakfast, left early.

Room could use a freshen up,ie: a coat of paint to clean up the look of the room.

This is an older place, nothing particularly great about it. However, it was clean, the owner and his wife came out to help me into my room. I've got mobility problems and he carried my stuff in and she made sure I was OK, i wasn't feeling very good and needed sleep and quiet when I came in. I also needed to get up early to drive to San Jose Airport the next morning. The place was exactly what I needed, a shower and bed. The price was good too. Simple and quiet. Good people to help me. Really good.

There were grown men riding bikes in their parking lot when I came in, it seemed odd. But once I went inside and locked my car and room, I felt more secure.

Convenient location. Plenty of space. Easy check-in and checkout procedure Reasonable priced. Comfortable

Older facility, but the accommodations did not disappoint

Comfortable bed, relatively clean for an older facility. Staff friendly. Nice quality towels, hot showers. Offered a bottle of water at the office.

Prices jacked up nearly double for the weekend. $$$ The room was unpleasantly perfumey, maybe from the laundry soap. Leaving the windows and doors open helped a little bit but that's not a long term solution. A more neutral soap or air freshener would be greatly appreciated.
