Cambria Hotel Pittsburgh - Downtown

Location, view from room, room layout, friendly staff at bar/restaurant, loved the lobby setup.

Hotel needs some basic maintenance and upkeep, shower ceiling not finished, hallway carpet needs to be stretched, chipped drinking glass in room

Did not have meals there Did have birth service Every request was met in a very timely manner

Room was large with separate sitting room. Location was good although we needed to use Uber to get to places of interest. Cost of Uber was less than $25 each time. Main shopping/restaurant area was more than a 30 minute walk. Whilst we didn't use the facilities there was a gym and indoor pool on site.

No safe in room. We had requested room be serviced each day but was never done. On site car parking at $39 per day seemed a bit excessive for an outdoor car park.

The beds were comfortable and very nice. The bathroom was big. The room was attractive. I liked the business desk, fold out couch. TV and dresser. There were places to put your clothes and room to be on a laptop and also room to relax. There was an indoor pool on the main floor.

I was surprised at the long line to check in. I am used to normally there being only 1 or 2 people or more staff helping with check ins. Our room looked like the cleaners missed it. I had to call the front desk to have them bring towels and ask for housekeeping. The bed was badly made, left over soap in the shower from the previous occupant. They said cleaning was every 3 days. I said I know but I need cleaning. The brought towels while we were out and did cleaning the next day. I was there for 4 days. This was the only thorough cleaning we received. They did drop off more towels. We had breakfast at the onsite restaurant. We cannot recommend it. We traveled for breakfast after that experience.
