Good location

It is really out dated and not what it appears on the website.

Being by the beach.

Way too expensive, especially to have a view of the parking lot. Little room. Cleanliness has declined since past stays. Outside furniture is looking old and dirty. Trash under the furniture at the pool area which can be seen while in the pool. I'm in the motel business, so I have an eye for these type things. Wouldn't say it's a resort except the prices are that of a resort. It's just a mediocre motel that's by the beach.

Good location, pool was nice

It was old and outdated. We had a problem with our toilet within the first hour of being there. When maintenance “fixed” it, the toilet started leaking onto the floor pretty good. The hotel also had a weird smell the entire time and super thing floors and walls.

Wonderful pet friendly ocean front hotel, one of my favorite places I’ve stayed, so much we opted to stay another night because we did not want to leave. Had a minor issue with our room the first night but they happily moved us the next day.

The pool side bar was not open at all, the hotel was under going renovations. They need to tune up their bike rentals.

Beach was beautiful, pool was nice. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable.

Room was disappointing. Dark and dingy. Bathroom wasn't super clean.

Bath Tub is an accident waiting to happen as extremely slippery in shower and my elderly mother was unable to shower due to the high risk of falling!!

The room we had was right near the walkway to the Beach. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are nice. The landscaping was done. They must be finished with renovations because it looks very nice there despite the bad reviews I read about it being run down.

The air conditioner didn’t seem to work as well at night but was very cold during the hot day which was unusually backwards, but the AC did work ! The toilet had a problem flushing once or twice.

Pricey

The location and it being only 2 floors.

Rooms needed to be updated. The desk in my room was nasty- looked like the lamp bases had deteriorated and was falling a part leaving a nasty black mess around it. I cleaned it up, but the lamp needs replacing.

It was a little run down. The pictures made it look like a bit nicer of a facility. But it was a pleasant stay

The pool was a little run down. The bar has limited food...not like the Internet pictures would have you believe and the drinks were expensive and underpoured.

Wrong room. Dirty room

Love the Views and the location, it's right on the beach. The hotel beds were comfy. Airconditioning was nice and cold and rooms were clean. I rented three suites for my family of 15. I have always loved this hotel and it was the first time in a long time all of us were together.

From the beginning it was challenging. The toilet in the room I was in was not flushing and we were told maintenance would be there first thing in the morning. Came back to the room after a day on the beach (because pool was not working)and no one had been in not even to take out the trash. We called the office and finally had to physically go down there to address this. Ice machine on our floor was non operational. The first night I physically had to bring back sheets and blankets to the rooms for the pull out, the maids never left the supply .We were there from Sunday night till Friday, There were never any towels supplied for the pool until manager was present on Thursday. 3 out of 5 days the hot tub was not operational. 1 day the pool was closed. The kiddie pool was not operational the whole week. We did not receive towels and service for our rooms until third day in. We were to have a kitchenette in each suite. My rooms microwave did not turn so it burned the food.. One of the rooms did not have a induction cooktop like the others so my son had no way to cook for his family. There was no workout room as advertised. Also on my receipt it shows I paid for dinner and breakfast and they do not offer that. Although I did receive vouchers for our group for breakfast each day. I didn't know before I booked that it was under a remodel. My price per day was like I was at a resort but this was far from it.

Clean, but run down. Had to move rooms twice due to plumbing issues. Pool water was brown! No continental breakfast. Had to go somewhere else to rent bikes because they were not kept up and low selection.

bathrooms were out of order in lobby water spickets getting off the beach were broken and with dogs made it extra hard. Overpriced for a hotel that calls themself a resort! Rusty towel racks in bathroom Kitchenette with no paper towels Restaurant on premises was AWFUL. I was encouraged to purchase breakfast Buffet for my family. $13.50 a person. nothing more than a continental breakfast. No meat left on first morning, asked kitchen staff to bring out more food like potatoes and eggs and received rude comments. Staff were lazy and rude. 2nd morning was told I couldn’t have any coffees because it tasted like water and they were closing in 15 minutes and she “was not going to make a fresh pot” NO COFFEE” I didn’t show my ass but I know family that would of. Geez for that price I should have bountiful coffee. Just awful. It was called Beachside Grill. I told the IHG hotel attendant and she said that the hotel was not affiliated with the restaurant and in order to be called a resort they needed one on the premises. But are they responsible if we are encouraged to eat there. I mean the hotel passes out the meal cards. They are in business together. I will be contacting Corporate and The Beachside Grill manager.

NOTHING, tried to check in early 3pm - room not available. 3:45 not available. 4pm same, 4:45 finally in room. no compensation for checking in late.

understanding staff, watching other staff walk around trying not to help the front desk. No one thought to call cleaning department to see why rooms were not ready, there were 7 couples waiting.

Hotel was conveniently located next to the beach. The kids and family really liked the accessibility to the pool and ocean. Cleaning service was done daily with new towels and garbage removal.

Hotel was booked to use certain amenities however the advertised pool side bar was only open limited hours. Of the 5 days of our stay the bar was only open 2 days.

nice walk to the beach

the room was not very clean, there was rust on the bottom of the bath tub, under the shelf in the shower was dirty and mold, the towel bar under the sink was rusty, the cabinet the refrigerator was in was busted at the bottom and the did not cool very well, the black out curtains were not hooked all the way.

Price and location of the property beats the surrounding hotels nearby with good breakfast and beachfront rooms.
