The surroundings and actual accommodation was lovely - extremely quaint, quiet and decorated beautiful. The rooms were super comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was incredible both mornings. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The carpet in our room needed to be cleaned and bathroom needed a small table/stool to hold make when using mirror.

The owners were on site very friendly and accommodating enjoyed their company and the history of the Inn definitely will return!!!

We had an excellent stay last week at An English Garden. Our room was cozy and we could see the ocean. There was a little porch off of our room that we enjoyed in the evenings. The staff is awesome and very helpful. The breakfast was good and they had multiple options (eggs made to order, breakfast meat, fruit, pancakes, etc) The inn is a very quick walk to the beach. The landscaping/garden is so beautiful. We definitely plan to stay again in the future!

I honestly cannot think of anything we did not like. The only negative thing was that we could not get the outdoor shower to work, but it may have just been user error.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast crew was very accommodating and willing to field special requests. The full breakfasts were great, prepared in the moment and made with fresh ingredients. The property was clean and attractive and a few steps from the beach. Everything was clean and fresh looking and attractively decorated. On-site parking was very convenient.

It wasn’t a huge deal but given the building is an older wooden structure means sounds travel very easily. You could easily hear other guests moving around their rooms, coming up and down the stairs, water moving through pipes, etc.

Coffee, eggs, bacon and fruit were good. The decor of the whole inn was nice-especially the breakfast room. Location and beach were great.

The breakfast was ok, not great. The blueberry pancakes were not light and fluffy. Our room and bathroom were small. It would have been nice to have a booklet with instructions for the AC and also a list of recommended restaurants and sightseeing. Downtown Dennis Port was small and not much of interest. Parking was difficult to get out of-perhaps a sign reminding people to pull up as far as possible would make it easier to maneuver. The walls are thin so we couldn’t talk normally or watch tv without disturbing neighbors. Finally, we could not connect to Wi-Fi.

The breakfast and service was very good. The room and bed was comfortable and the there was a balcony with table and chairs with a pleasant view of the garden. The b&b is a very short walk to the beach.

The bathroom is small for two people. The floor was creaky.

*Breakfast was delicious! Especially the home fries. *Location was amazing! Very quick walk to the beach and short drive to downtown for restaurants, ice cream, etc. *Contact-free check-in was so easy. *Mini fridge in the room. *Private entrance to room, didn't really see other guests except for at breakfast. *AC in room

*Breakfast was only from 8-10, which is later than we'd like. *King bed was really two twin beds pushed together and not super comfortable. *Pillows were SO BAD. Paper thin and only 2 pillows in the room. We had to use folded up blankets under them and I still woke up with ear and neck pain. *Walls also very thin. Thumping from room above us kept me awake. *Room was clean but seemed not well maintained. The bathroom mirror is all torn up, the lock on the doorknob didn't work properly all the time, toilet runs for a long time after flushing.

The location, exterior as well as interior and the service personel working there, as well as the friendly owner. The breakfast was incredible; very tasteful and New England style. Our days started happy. We did feel completely at ease and never forget the hospitality and nearby quiet beach.

Due to beautiful weather the early sunlight awakened us a bit (too) early. Although a luxury problem lightshielding curtains might be better.

I was completely satisfied with my stay! An English Garden is a gem of a Bed/Breakfast. Though breakfast was not included due to the offseason timeframe, a chef prepares breakfast when in season, and I can imagine it is as wonderful as accommodation is : )

I loved the quantness of the bed and breakfast. It had a nice seaside feel.
